Dr. Nkechi A. Idoko, the Chief Librarian, Enugu State Polytechnic (ESPOLY) Iwollo has a Bachelor, Master’s and Doctoral Degree in Library and Information Science, all from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. Dr. Idoko is a seasoned Civil Servant and an academic, having worked with Enugu State Universal Basic Education (ESUBEB) for years thus she is a certified member of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) before joining the services of the University of Nigeria. She is a researcher with many publications to her credit. She has presented papers at both national and international conferences. Dr. Idoko is an editor to Journal of Applied Information Science and Technology (AJAIST) and Wikipedia. While in UNN, Idoko headed different departments. Her research interest is in the areas of – School Libraries, Information Literacy Skills and in mentoring. She is a member of many professional associations such as Academic and Research Library Section (ARLS) an arm of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA), Library and Information Technology Today (LITT), Cataloguing and Classification (Cat & Class) and Committee of Mono-technics and Polytechnics Librarians in Nigeria (COMPLIN) Dr. Idoko is happily married with children.
