My name is Dr. Ekwueme Osmond Uchenna, the Ag. Director, Information and Communication Technology Espoly, Iwollo. I have an Italian Diploma (Bs.c) Quantity Surveyor, Italian Diploma (Masters) Quantity Surveyor, obtained at the Institute for Geometra, Turin, Italy. Doctoral degree in Languages and Foreign Literature at the University of Turin, Italy. Chairman of the ICT Board/Development Committee, Chairman of the Timetable Committee. I was a Telegraphist with the defunct Nigerian Post and Telecommunications. I managed Udi Post Office as the head of the Telegraph section, and also at Awgu on the same capacity before I left for Italy in 1982. I worked in Information Technology, an outsourcing centre in Italy for 20 years as a Team Leader and qualified Analysts in an outsourcing job. The founder of an Ngo “Honesty in Italy” and presently the Chairman of “Philmond Initiative for life”. I am an experienced strategists in the fight against traffickers, a job that I did for years in Italy and a Cultural Mediator for the Catholic NGO “Caritas” of Turin- Italy for 17 years.
Since my takeover as the Ag. Director, of ICT, Espoly, Iwollo, I have been able to reposition it, with a refurbished workshop powered by solar energy 24/7 under the support of the Council and Management of the Institution. A suitable visual centre for the students and the staff of the school. The Council, Management and the ICT centre have reached an agreement with the Tenece’ Professional Services Ltd to give a face lift to the Website of the school and to boost the Portal for our millennium goal. In ICT, we educate students, we train staff and we enlighten the management. This is the SMART ICT, I want for the Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo. I am a European trained worker with an objective of reaching my target always. Married with three children.
