Brief History

Enugu State Polytechnic (formerly Enugu State College of Agriculture and Agro-Entrepreneurship) was established by virtue of the Enugu State Government Edict No. 6 of May 2009 (the Enugu State College of Agriculture Law, 2009). The Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo, emerges as a vital hub in the machinery of tertiary education within the state. With a diverse offering of programs in science, agriculture, and technology, this polytechnic addresses the demand for specialized skills in critical fields.

Its strategic role becomes pronounced in preparing students for careers that drive technological and agricultural advancements, aligning with the state's broader vision of fostering a workforce equipped to tackle contemporary challenges. The platform of conveyance of teaching is based on Experiential Learning (EL)
